Very quick read and keeps you guessing until the end.

First time in a long time I sat down with a book and didn't move until I was finished. Gripping, twisting tale that kept me focused for five hours or so. Fun read!

Another great Harlan Coben book

I liked this, but I found the guy's undying and unrelenting love a little hard to believe l o l.

Started out with so much promise, but it got so....can something be both thick and brittle at the same time?? Slogged through it and really wasn't sad when it was over. A bit of reaching and grabbing for details to support the plot. Not the best Coben I've read for sure.....

. Coben writes fast paced, wonderfully readable fiction. Six Years is a love story inside of a mystery. I love coven, especially is Bolitar mysteries. His stand alone mysteries put him on the map, but still I love his Bolitar novels better. Six Years was compelling and the resolution of the mystery was enjoyable. I hate that the love story was completely from one perspective. It left me wanting.and their ending had the proverbial bow, but it felt hollow I guess

Harlan Coben can always be counted on to deliver a fast, enjoyable read.

Actual rating: 3.5 stars.

I have been a bit behind on my HC books of late, so it's been a while since I've read any of his stuff. As usual, I really enjoyed Coben's style. The casual, self-deprecating protagonist with a dry wit.

I always enjoy a story so much more when I can make a genuine personal connection with the story. This was especially true with this book. No, my life hasn't involved the shady aspects of what Jake encounters, but there were still many moments, or should I say sentiments, that really resonated with me. I was hoping for something like that from this, and I wasn't disappointed.

Yes, it was a bit formulaic. Yes, I figured out much of the ending before the reveal. But I didn't enjoy the book any less for it.

This is a great, fast-paced, easy read. It's a page-turner. Definitely a unique storyline!
