Well, I finished this yesterday, and have a little something different to say outside of the other reviews I have read on Goodreads about this book. I will say up front, that the writing is not phe\phenomenal, and there were many cliches, so much so that I would speak the line out loud at the same time, or before the book had that line. However, the story is quite interesting, I was little on the edge of my seat for most of the book. I was just curious how it would play out. So, if you can ignore some iffy writing, or want a quick read that is plot driven, and will soon be a film with Hugh Jackman, it's worth a read.

This book had me all over the place trying to figure out the plot. A couple of times, I had thought I had figuered it out, but nope. Definitely held my interest through out the entire story. Towards the end, it seemed like there were just too many details as the author filled in the gaps, that the story was almost convoluted...almost. I liked it though. I would definitely try some other books from this author.

Fast paced, with plenty of plot twists. Kept me guessing up to the end. 3.5 stars.

This book was good. Kept my interest and kept me thinking about what the outcome would be.

Harlan Coben is my go to writer when I want to read a light, effortless, no-brainer novel, usually after an intense one. A book that is interesting enough to keep me hooked and satisfy my appetite for reading, but not worry and whine about language skills or strongly written characters or lack of a story that makes me feel emotionally attached to the book. Six years was exactly that. I've read better novels by Coben than this one, but I have no complaints. The mystery was gripping and the end reveal was satisfying.

Not one of Coben’s best.

This was a decent read if you like a little Mystery and Murder. Nothing was too graphic, and the storyline was told so that the reader can easily stay engaged without immediately figuring out what had happened.

I did feel like there were some useless details, and while I love when a story wraps up with a few years post event, I felt like besides concluding the mystery, the ending was kinda unrealistic/totally predictable.

That said, I think this was a creative story line, and I really enjoyed the length of this book. It didn’t feel like it went on and on forever!!
