Christopher Buckley is a hilarious, honest, and intelligent author, and "Boomsday" does not disappoint. Buckley writes factually about political jobs and climates. Buckley is amazing at saying, hilariously, what everyone else is too afraid to say. "Thank You for Smoking" is a romp through lobbyist dynamics and how it feels to shoulder the blame of one of the most hated vices in America.

Great as always. I love Buckley's use of names and how funny he makes them. Great little, funny, read!!!

The book (as usual) was SO much better than the movie. However, I was impressed by the movie. It was very close to the book, both in getting the satire across and sticking to the storyline. I really enjoyed the book. I like the way Buckley writes, his sarcasm and humor comes of very easily understood.

one of the many things I love about Dr. Holian, is his choices in readings.

Liked it, plot could have used some development. Wish there was more focus on the tobacco lobby
