One of the most powerful books I've ever read. It makes me passionate and burn with an even stronger fire, one that tells me to keep believing in the spirit of intersectional feminism, one that told me to keep going, even if the world seems bleak and hopeless, one that told me that every piece of resistance, even on the most microscopical level, matters.

This is actually one of the best books I’ve ever read. Truly every single sentence is gold. I had to order my own personal copy so I can re-read it and mark it up, but I’m afraid I’ll want to highlight every sentence.

Had to put the book down a few times, teared up a few times, especially the essay on anger and rage.

I want to recommend this book to literally everyone I know, and everyone I don’t know. She should be mandatory reading.

I will probably be reading everything she’s ever written. She has inspired me greatly.

This book taught me how to love. Is teaching me. There is so much knowledge, wisdom, and love in this book. Absolutely nothing I can add to the discourse, which is the biggest compliment I can give it I guess. I'm just speechless. Must rereadrereadrereadrereadrereadrereadandreread. Wow. Just wow.

It's f*cking Audre Lorde; read this! Every essay is laden with emotion, fact, philosophy, and love. My favorites were the last three.
