As far as I'm concerned, the gold standard for comic art and simple storytelling. So fearlessly creative and heartfelt. Very clearly a direct influence for Neil Gaiman, the story in this about Arcane sending influencing ripples throughout America reminded me immediately of The Corinthian, and Cane and Abel are just chilling here in the dream realm as well.

Slower than the first volume but the ending is spectacular! Curious to see how some of the threads pay off.

Fantastic. Absolutely wonderful. Solidifying my love of all things (okay, most things) Alan Moore. The art was fantastic. This volume got a little more into the horror/demon genre and it was great.

This book is overrated. The art and storytelling are experimental and boundary-pushing, but that hasn't translated into the well-told story that Moore is usually capable of. This is a lull in the series, but a lull in this series is still better than many books. Not great, not bad.

I liked this but not as much as the first graphic novel. I'm not really a horror person but I'm definitely an Alan Moore person. SO it came out about even. I'm not a huge fan of this kind of "sloppy" art, it shows its age. What I find really interesting is that the way Moore makes Swamp Thing cool again is to kinda leave him in the background. Many times the story doesn't really seem to be about him. He's a plant/earth elemental so not really all that exciting. That said, I'll probably stop here since I have a bizillion other comics to read.
