Do you want a super funny and SPICY read for the summer? Well buckle up buttercup cause Knot So Lucky will have you in panty soaking stitches!
Author Trilina Pucci does an amazing job putting you in the FMC's shoes. The duel POV between Eleanor and Crew is done really well. Eleanor is a headstrong FMC who does not apologize for being herself. Crew is a filthy mouth alphahole and it works! He also knows how to share ;)
The humor in this book is top notch. I was busting out laughing through out the whole book; sometimes even having to set down the book to wipe away the laugh tears. There were a lot of pop culture references, but they are all really well known and I don't feel they would go over the average reader's head.
This would have been a five star if I didn't feel the situation that puts them in the main conflict of the story wasn't a bit far fetched. You really have to lean into the suspension of disbelief. Also there is a miscommunication trope that leads to a 3rd act breakup which I have never been a fan of. The humor and the spice definitely make-up for these small shortcomings though!
I have added Tangled in Tinsel to my holiday TBR ;)

Randomly came across this today and was pleasantly surprised. This isn't why choose or polyamory, but it does have partner sharing (the FMC is shared with the MMC's friends a few times). I loved watching the MCs' relationship slowly morph from one of pure fun for the both of them, to something deeper and more meaningful. The little signs that showed the MMC was less and less willing to share, the friends backing off as soon as they realized he had feelings for her, and the FMC's growing desire to show him that she wanted him above all. Very sweet arc, and a fun/ridiculous trip along the way.

This book was hilarious!! I could not stop laughing. I absolutely loved the banter between Eleanor and Crew! The spice was SPICY, and there was a whole lot of it, but I still felt like there was a good enough amount of plot. I loved all of these characters, I loved the tie ins to Tangled in Tinsel, I loved the pop culture references, and I loved watching these two idiots realize that they actually care about each other.

Okay first of all, if you are a Niners fan, we love the representation. Gang Bang Niner Gang baby
Second, this book is EASILY the funniest book I've read all year. The banter, the wit, the comebacks.... chefs kiss, perfect, absolutely unmatched. Also can we talk about the nicknames Tweedle Dumbass and Tweedle Dipshit because I will be adapting that into my friend group immediately

Bet on this book.
I was never ready for this. Probably because I never read the synopsis, but ya know... it's worth it more often than not.
I chose it because the title and cover seemed like so much fun (judge me all you like), and I was not wrong. It's laugh-out-loud funny, funny, so freaking adorable and super spicy (the last one I was not ready for.)
Starting Book 2 immediately.
