I was drawn to "Knot So Lucky" not only because I'm a fan of sports romance but also because it came highly recommended by the probably smut book club – a double endorsement that had me intrigued. And boy, did it deliver!

Throughout the book, I found myself laughing out loud in the dark after bedtime. El's relatability struck a chord, making me feel like I was right there with her, experiencing the crazy ride. Her escapades mirrored situations that I and my friends could easily find ourselves in, which made the story all the more enjoyable.

Vegas as a setting added an extra layer of excitement. As we all know, what happens there doesn't always stay there, and that holds true for El and Cam's whirlwind journey.

This was my first foray into Trilina Pucci's writing, and I can confidently say she's now on my list of automatic-read authors. Her style is a perfect blend of steamy and hilarious, with dialogue that crackles and banter that keeps you hooked.

El and Cam's chemistry was palpable, though there were times when I wished I could bop them on the head and tell them to communicate better. Despite that, their connection felt genuine, making their relationship both entertaining and endearing.

In a nutshell, "Knot So Lucky" was a fantastic read that I highly recommend. If you're a fan of sports romance, this book is an absolute must-read. It's got everything – humor, steam, relatable characters, and a story that'll keep you turning the pages. Don't miss out on this delightful rollercoaster of a novel!

“Vegas is for catching cock, not crushes.”

This was hysterical and better than I expected given the title!

To say this book was HOT is the understatement of the year, this book is pure sex and debauchery. I loved every second of it. Eleanor is sassy, smart, sexy, determined and a true INDEPENDENT woman, SHE DONT NEED NO BODY!!
Crew is straight up a sexy playboy with loyalty to his two besties, Nate and TJ. Oh and of course he likes to share, and you find out pretty quickly when he doesn’t want to anymore, why.
The witt between these two is unbeatable, she doesn’t let him get away with anything. They essentially play a long game of chicken without knowing it but holy sugar it is delicious! And with the most perfect Eleanor ending to boot! I think I highlighted most do they book, not sure I can choose one favour quote.

I loved tangled in tinsel but I was disappointed with this one
It’s not as hot
Not as addictive
It’s alright, and could be fine if I didn’t read tangled last year and was expecting more
Tangled made me sweat
This one not even close
I’am still a Trilina fan
And hope the 3rd one will be as spicy and hot as tangled

This was objectively awful. I knew by pg. 24 that this was not the book for me, but honestly I’ve given up on a lot of books lately and figured I would grin and bear it.

Total mistake.

In the dedication of this book, the author states that she deliberately didn’t describe the FMC’s appearance with the intention of giving an “every woman” experience. And then proceeded to write a woman who a) I’ve never met and b) I could even begin to relate to. Has the author ever had a conversation with a friend and/or sister? No woman speaks to another woman like this. Like, ever.

The plot was no plot. And the “breakup” was even more anti climatic than I assumed it would be.

Side note - do not pause reading this book to watch the Barbie movie. It will be even worse when you come back to finish the book. Also, I kid you not, I paused right before this Ken explained his job of sport to her (around the 80% mark).

The spice was fine but if a book is ‘why choose’, then ‘why choose’ works. If it is ‘just one couple at the end’ traditional romance then ‘why choose’ moments feel off. I don’t want it to feel like this, but it does.

Anyway, as all the other one star reviews said: this was bad.

This is the first really steamy book that I rank 5 ⭐️
It was awesome.
The FMC is hilarious or to be more precise her interactions with the other characters (especially her sister/friend).
I laughed out loud many times.

The spicy parts are 🥵🥵🥵

The author put everything together for you to have a great time reading, day dreaming, sweating a little…
