A kingdom of stars and shadows is the first book in a new paranormal romance series. I’m not usually a paranormal fan, however this book has me hooked from the beginning. The star blessed is promised to the crown Prince and has known this her whole life. Something happens before she meets the crown Prince and her feelings may evolve to someone else.

The star blessed isn’t sure who she can trust as she is moved into the castle. The crown Prince’s mom treats her as she is just to be used for her powers. She learns that the crown Prince isn’t all who she seems to be. What happens when she meets the crown Prince’s brother? She learns secrets about this family as well as her own.

I can not wait until the second book comes out. I loved getting to know these characters and can’t wait to see how this story pans out.

There was NO build up to the romance in this book AT ALL, I don’t think the two love interests actually had a normal conversation or hung out once without it being about sex or the prince so it was just impossible to see why they actually liked each other. I honestly also though the writing style was boring and lazy
