In the second book of the Kingdom of the Wicked series, we learn a little bit more about the curse that are holding the houses of sin, kind of captive and why their power could be in jeopardy.
The relationship between Emilia and Wrath is blossoming even more. Which provides a good amount of angst throughout the book. You also are learning more about who Emilia is, but also more of Wrath’s story. There’s lots of turns and ups and downs throughout this story that keeps you really engaged and into it. Some are definitely shockers while others you can predict.
Yes, there are definitely more steamy bits in this book than there had been in the first one. And they are definitely STEAMY. I’m really enjoying this series so far and I can’t wait to finish the next book!

loved the twists and turns of this book! while i did feel like i knew one of the bigger twists i still felt on the edge of my seat wanting to know more details, i couldn’t put it down.

I also loved book #2. It's a rare series that keeps my interest for book 2. The twists and turns continue as well as the dark romance aspect. I'm excited for the final book. I think it will be better than the 2nd.
