Stāstu krājums, kur iekļauti divdesmit trīs īsāki un garāki stāsti - reālistiski un fantastiski, skumji un komiski, nopietni un izjautrinoši, gaiši un tumši, tādi, kurus es līdz galam nesapratu un tādi, kuriem pilnībā aizrāvos līdzi.
Ja man būtu jāraksturo, kas vieno šos stāstus – es teiktu, ka tie visi ir kā lēciens nezināmajā, jo katru stāstu sākot lasīt, nav ne mazākās nojausmas vai tas būs reālistisks vai tā būs fantastika un šis man šķita ļoti interesanti. Patiesībā, man kā fantastikas “mazlasītājai” šis bija ideāls veids kā nedaudz “iebarot” fantastiku.
Par šo autoru iepriekš nebiju dzirdējusi un apzināti neko nemeklēju pirms grāmatas lasīšanas, bet jau ātri nolasījās, ka autoram ir kāda saistība ar jūdaismu, un, jā, autors ir uzaudzis Izraēlā, kas nes jeb uzglabā sevī holokausta sāpes, kur teju 2/3 no iedzīvotājiem ir reliģiozi ebreji, bet tai pat laikā ir viena no tehnoloģiski attīstītākajām valstīm pasaulē. Un šis viss caurvijas stāstiem.
Šis bija interesants piedzīvojums un vārdam “interesants” šeit nevajag piekarināt nedz negatīvu, nedz pozitīvu nozīmīti – šis tiešām bija interesanti un daži no stāstiem ir burtiski nokļuvuši man zem ādas.
Stāsti, kas mani uzrunāja visvairāk – “Drumstalkūka”, “Jed Vašem”, “Tabula rasa”, “Kases aparāts” un “Pinapple Crush”.

I admit my biggest frustration with Etgar Keret most of the time is how short and slight his stories are — and how interesting they are, to the point where I often want more from each one. This collection features a single longer story, "Pineapple Crush," and it's my favorite thing he's ever written. But so many of these stories barely establish an idea before they're over. I know that's his thing, I just find it unsatisfying.

While there are a few skips in here, there's just something about Keret's writing that really resonates with me.
If you pick up this volume, expect a lot of "nothing happens but somehow you feel very lonely and are faced with the absurdity of life". A lot of the stories are experimental snippets but a few are more complete. My favourite, by far, was tabula rasa.
Recommended if you enjoy modern fiction, are comfortable reading with stories seeped in loneliness as well as intergenerational trauma due to the Holocaust, and don't mind some existential absurdity to wrap it all up.

הספר הזה שכב לי על המדף לא פחות משלוש שנים, מאז שיצא. לא ברור לי מה מנע ממני להרים אותו, למרות שמבטינו הצטלבו לא אחת בעת שבהה בי מהמדף, ובדיעבד אני מאוד מצטערת על העיכוב בחשיפה שלי ליצירת האמנות הזו.
אתגר קרת הוא סופר פנומנלי. סלבדור דאלי של ספרות מודרנית. תקלה בקצה הגלקסיה הוא קובץ סיפורים קודר, כנה, אמיתי, מצחיק עד דמעות לעיתים ועצוב בצורה שגורמת לך לנבול מבפנים - ויותר מהכל, כל כך ישראלי. לא הרבה יוצא לי להרגיש גאווה לאומית, אך במקרה הזה באמת שאני מרגישה ברת מזל שזכיתי לקרוא את יצירת המופת הזו בשפה בה נכתבה.

Тази книга е глътка въздух в антиутопията, в която напоследък живеем. Не мога да кажа друго, освен "Благодаря" (за пореден път) на Етгар за историите. И да си помечтая скоро да дойде отново в България и да го слушаме на живо.

So many short stories in this short book, and some were pretty creative. Not much I could identify with though, and not much matched my interests. Writing style was fine, but overall I left feeling like it was not a very interesting read for me.

Estuvo bastante bien. La mayoría de los cuentos involucran un giro o relevación sorpresa, lo cual hico que la colección fuera divertida de leer.
This was quite nice. Most of the stories involved some sort of plotwist or suprise revelation, which made them incredibly fun to read.

הספרים של אתגר קרת השפיעו מאוד על חיי בשנות התבגרותי-העשרים המאוחרות. הקריאה בספר הזה היא כמו להביט במראה כמה עשורים אחרי, רק שמי שניבט מהמראה כבר מרגיש קצת פחות מוזר ובצד. אולי זו הסיבה שפחות התחברתי (או בגלל שאני לא אוהב יותר סיפורים קצרים, עוד משהו שחלף עם השנים, פעם לא הייתה לי סבלנות לרומנים ארוכים).
הסיפורים כאילו קלילים ובעצם די עגומים. הגיבורים תמיד אאוטסיידרים וקצת בצד. חלק מהסיפורים מבריקים ממש. חלקם נוגעים בפנטזיה ומלאי דימיון חלקם מאוד ריאליסטים עד כאב. הסיפורים מתפרסים על כל מערכות היחסים, הורים וילדים, זוגיות, בדידות ואבל - אבל הטון כאילו
יומיומי. אחד הסיפורים שעל שמו קרוי הספר הוא בעצם סיפור בהתכתבות
ובכל זאת פחות התחברתי. אני לא מחובבי הז׳אנר ובניגוד לעבר פחות מצאתי את עצמי בו.
