I like the idea of this book, but somehow instead of empowering me, it made me depressed about being a woman in this world. Poetry isn't really my thang though. My favorite was 'My Short Skirt'.

I’m sure this would’ve felt more revolutionary in 2010. Still, with over a decade past, a lot of the portrayals fell flat to me. No narrator really felt “true” and I’d be curious to know what kind of research Ensler did. Perhaps the sparse format of the poetry is what left me lacking.

Extremely moving. More geared towards teenage girls but it spoke to me as a 29 year old. Eve is a blessing for women!
