It should be 2.5 stars. I listened to the audio and the narrator was awful. It felt very condescending, which is weird. The book should have been called Who is Washington Irving? However, very few kids would have been interested, I guess.

Solid entry in the Who What Where series. Not gonna lie, when I read that there was one about Nancy Drew, I had to track down a copy. Lots of great information about the origins of Nancy and the ghostwriters that started the series. As a life long fan, I even learned a few things. Highly recommend this series for the young readers in your life.

Such a charming introduction to the Anne of Green Gables series. My only complaint -- Spoilers!!!
I think that you can talk about how great these books are with people that have not read them without giving everything away. The illustrations are lovely and add to the charm of the book.

This book was actually fun to read! I never knew I would learn so much in a span of just an hour! Like about Scooby-Dums existence, and the fact that Scooby-Doo was produced by the same company as The Flintstones. Though, I wasn't too attached to the book and not something I can invision myself rereading.
Overall. If you enjoy Scooby-Doo and want to learn more about it while having a quick read, I'd say give this book a try!

Super quick and fun. It was interesting to see the history of not just the author and where he got the inspiration for the story but also how various historical figures interacted.
