I literally already called it that this book would be a 5 star read for me. I enjoyed reading about Lila and Hugh's love story. They were so cute together, the witty banter and the sexual tension was A1. I loved the couples moments, but I also loved the family dynamic between the Reynolds siblings. I can't wait to read each of their stories. I also loved that we got to see some of her past characters from the previous series...

Hugh is my new Book Boyfriend....he was down for our girl from day one and other than her being his bestfriends little sis, he literally worshipped the ground she walked on. He was understanding/supportive of her and her beliefs and protective just like a BEAR(IYKYK).

I absolutely loved the adventure and world this book brought into and reading it along with the audio was perfection!!

The chemistry between Hugh and Lila was so sweet and perfect. No crazy drama. Fun side characters and love the family dynamic, even for Lila’s side. Small town, over the summer romance, Brothers best friend to secret lovers. Lila spends the summer trying to help her dad with rehab and working for hugh and on her checklist of living. And the sibiling chat is so fun!

This is a positive 3 star rating. Like all Laura Pavlov books I've read, I enjoy her characters and storylines, and this one is no exception, I just didn't enjoy this one as much as I've enjoyed others by her. I would still recommend this to readers, though, and I hope they love it more than I did.
