3.5 stars, big cockroaches invade! short and gross and lots of bugs. For a really good time try The Nest by Gregory A Douglas. I will have to check out more Ania Ahlborn works as her writing was very easy to read and full of emotion. Cleared this book in one sitting.

Kim Devland and her husband Eddy have just bought a new house and move it just in time before their new baby arrives. But the house is plagued with palmetto bugs in every room and they keep coming despite the attempts to exterminate them. It is just a bug infestation, or is something more sinister in her dream house?

I love Ania Ahlborn and this was a decent novella. If anything, I want this story developed into a full length novel. I did't find it as creepy/scary as a some, but I also don't have an issue with bugs.

This definitely wasn’t my favourite out of Ahlborn’s works that I have read so far and I would’ve loved it if there was more happening in the book.

Rating this 3 stars purely because roaches terrify me

Not my favourite Ania Ahlborn, but ok.

It was a boring read/listen for me. I liked the ending scene a lot but sadly for most of the book nothing much happened to scare or entertain me.
P.S. - Audio narration was good.
