Take a shot every time a horror movie is directly referenced or every time the main character thinks about what to name her new baby. This was infuriatingly boring.

This was creepy, crawly, and all sorts of uncomfortable. Ania has an absolute gift for all things that will keep you up late at night and this was no exception. I am not inherently afraid of cockroaches, although I admit I’d lose what little of my mind is left if I experienced THIS level of infestation, but Ania’s writing sure did make me question this. This was fast paced, sinister, and sure to make your skin crawl. And that ending? I had no idea where we were going but we sure did make it to all the right places. I do wish we got a touch more clarity but sometimes that’s the beauty of horror, leaving us in the dark and wondering. All I know is that I can still feel them crawling.

This one truly made my skin itch! It did a great job of exploring all of the anxiety around becoming a parent and committing to permanent changes in your life like homeownership.

This was good! A new mom’s decent into madness. I wish there was more madness and that I understood the meaning of the roaches lol
