Interesting magical realism. Felt a little stilted but I liked it all the same, a quick read and it was especially interesting to take in all the Japanese cultural norms and references. A good short story.

Such a great concept. Loved that it was in 4 different short stories but I did struggle with the characters names as it’s translated from Japanese. I would of rated it higher but I found some bits a bit slow and parts of the story just made me loose interest

Not sure if it’s lost in translation, but the writing struck me as the opposite of ‘show not tell’. Tell not show. So it was hard to get immersed in the story
