informative medium-paced

He draws attention to some interesting phenomena of modern life. Didn’t draw any particular conclusions but gave me some food for thought

This book has become dated. Not a bad book overall.

An interesting read. I was a big fan of his "Chaos" a number of years ago, and this is almost as fascinating. Almost - I found it tended to touch rather too lightly on its subjects, as if to secure the reader's waning attention span with short glossy chapters. I also suspect it would have made more of an impression upon me when it came out at the end of the last millenium, rather than today, when many people are all too familiar with the symptoms of time deprivation. Good, but light, reading.
