Offers insight on how to parent a child who are extra sensitive, not to physical sensations, but also sensitive in emotions and thoughts.

some good insights, but I felt most of this was intuitive for a conscientious parent

Excellent read/listen. I wish I had known about this book when my son was a baby. Listening to the infant and toddler portions of this book was rough, because it pointed out so many things that should have tipped me off that my baby was/is a highly sensitive person, and I recognized so many things I could have done differently in getting him/us through those years. I even learned that I'm an HSP through this book. Fantastic resource no matter how old your child is as it takes you all the way through the college years.

Lots of good tips I hadn't thought of as I raise two very different sensitive children.

3.5 some great tips and insight but found it repetitive and sometimes lacking. I feel like I get more tangible steps from Instagram posts.

Extremely helpful and explanatory. Will definitely go back to this over the years.

I'm not going to finish this book, but I think reading the first couple chapters was very foundational for me! I found a lot of the information to be relatable, and I could see myself in a lot of the words described.

Now that I'm past the intro chapters though I find myself not really being eager to keep picking it up, and reading others reviews, I think I've gleamed the best part of the book anyways.

Overall, the biggest takeaway is 1.Being sensitive is a good thing, and don't let people squash that part of you (it won't work, and it'll only end up hurting yourself), and make sure to nurture it in your child! Seeing people support that view makes me very happy!
