Someone left a copy of this book in the share kitchen I'm using and I read a bit over breakfast or dinner or while waiting for something to cook. If it disappears and I don't finish it, I won't be overly sad but it is a nice light read.

Update: The book didn't disappear and I finished it tonight.

For my full thoughts, check out Read.Write.Repeat.

While still a fun escape into the French countryside of the early 90s, Toujours Provence fails to capture the same magic as its predecessor.

A lovely follow up to A Year in Provence. Peter Mayle is eating and drinking his way through life in a small french village, with a host of colourful anecdotes and charm.

A votre santé!

I'd never had any desire to go to France until I read this book. So light and clever!

“Toujours Provence” is, just as it’s predecessor, such a relaxing book to read. It dives into a time after the author has published his first book and tells of all the new changes that comes with local (and international) recognition. The tourists seem to never leave, but thankfully the delicious food and wine never fails to leave either!
