I knew it would hurt but oww

OK going in I knew this one would be painful for the fates of two of my favorite team members but wow that hurt.
Eden is recovering from the incidents of last book, and Jake is in pain trying to solve the next mystery without seeing him.
Rest of the team is being helpful and supportive while trying not to step on toes from the tension.
This one is shorter than previous installments but I think it was needed to not drag the events of this plot out to be too much.
Ends on a cliffhanger so be aware, they seem to be getting more brutal each time.

A very fun adventure. Also a quick read! They read like an Indiana Jones film, though set in current times.
