I really like books set on boats. I'm not sure this one quite lives up to the first book, but it was still a fun, piratey, YA read.

Another overhyped book that still didn't give me the characterization I needed and wanted. The plot was fun and fast-paced, but the world building seemed sloppy and underdone, and left me with so many questions. Overall, this was a good duology, but I think it could have been done better.
Good, character driven story. Again, a bit lacking in choices by the main character. It all just seems to happen TO her. Not something she does.
YA pirates. I think I had my hopes too high for this one.
