Where was the groveling?? I hate how quickly and easily she gave into him when he didn’t deserve it or earn it. I hate incredibly weak FMC.

The story begins with a 14 year old Patience getting dressed for a dinner party at her family home. There she meets Aaron Townsend. The next chapter she has a set of 5 year old twins. The story was pretty good and this won’t be a long review. I wasn’t a fan of how the MMC nor the FMC were written. She was weak and he was overly aggressive. It was a turn off for me. I like an unhinged man, but I don’t like bullies and this seemed like more of a bully romance. I’ve said this in all of the books I’ve read by this author, please get a better editor. It’s distracting to continue to read grammatical errors.

Aaron is a dick and I legit cannot stand him oh my god. I loved the Legacy series and was seriously looking forward to reading his book but I am actually disgusted with him

The Townsen men

I’ve been waiting for Aaron’s story since I finished Carter’s. Now I guess I’ll be impatiently waiting for Joshua’s story. Ms. Patterson’s books are were written with well developed characters, over the top Alphas who sill do anything for their women, and just the right amount of heat.
