As I was reading this last volume, it was feeling anticlimactic to me. There are a couple of changes of pace within the volume, and the story takes a turn at the end that felt abrupt to me at first. As I read the final letter from the author and some of the letters from readers, it made me take a step back and reassess. There is a lot to unpack within the themes that Parasyte presents. It is not all completely successful, but at the same time, the story feels complete and satisfying.

Die Grundlage mit den Parasyten, die Menschen bevölkern und dann mit diesen Leben war gut, aber dann zog es sich so und war so viel gejammer. Das Ende, auch das Migi sich dann einfach mal schlafen legt, war auch zu einfach. Und wir haben nie heraus bekommen woher die parasyten kamen. Daher gebe ich der gesamten Reihe einfach mal 3 Sterne.
Throughout the series I was constantly impressed with Shinji's inner battles and Miji depicted the way he was. They never drifted into something that was unlike them and it was a really good journey watching them grow, watching Shinji try to understand who and what he was and decide whether he was a hero or 'trash' or just in my humble opinion a little bit of both. I am not sure how I feel about this ending though. There were just...so many things I didn't particularly agree with - the choices that were made at the end by some of our characters. The last chapter too I felt like I could have totally done without it, I didn't see the point of any of it. But all in all, it was an okay ending to a phenomenal series, I loved it for everything it was and I can't wait to watch the anime.

Este volumen en concreto me decepcionó un poco. Me cree demasiadas expectativas para el final de este manga que lamentablemente no se pudieron cumplir. Pero en realidad fue un buen volumen con un final decente. No me puedo quejar.
En general el manga me encantó. Este tipo de temas nunca me han llamado la atención y jamás creí que llegaría a leer algo así; pero después de leer esta extraña historia, me he abierto a más géneros que anteriormente me rehusaba a leer.
No suelo leer mangas, solo he leído unos 5 en toda mi vida, los demás los he abandonado por aburrimiento. Pero cuando comencé a leer esta historia simplemente no pude parar. Era adictivo e intrigante. No quería soltarlo.
Lo recomiendo a cualquier amante de la ciencia ficción y también a aquellos que gusten de leer algo distinto, intrigante y psicológico (y con algunas dosis de gore).

Parasyte is about an alien species that uses humans as host bodies to kill other human beings.
Decent ending that showed some character development for the protagonist, albeit it wasn't the biggest development he could have made. The message is still a bit heavy-handed for my taste, but it's a lot more subtle than in the previous volume. The fight scenes here were more interesting than the majority of the fight scenes in the entire series put together.

WOW, scéna v parku je silná. Ty minulé svazky jsem asi neměla hodnotit 5*, protože ty kapitoly kolem 46. byly zatím nejsilnější.
