This was a great exposition of constrained writing as well as a fun read.
The author was able to tell a complicated, often funny, sometimes dark story within the meta-game of slowly whittling down usable letters in the story.

I really loved this read! I had this one on my list to read for years at this point, because the concept is so intriguing to me. I was really looking forward to seeing the letters slowly disappear from the book, and was not disappointed. The story itself and the characters were fun too! It was hard to put it down, and I finished it in about 3 days (even though it's a short read that's fast for me). I especially enjoy the ending and the solution to the problem, I didn't see it coming and I think it's very clever. I'd love if it were longer just so that we could get more time in the journey, but it's a fantastic read nonetheless.

Smiled as soon as I opened the front page and thought “I get it”!found my self cheering on the MC and heartbroken at the frequent departures. A fantastic and clever ending. A favourite for sure.
