let's just get to it, i didn't like this book as much as the first. i hateeeeee zafira's pov, it's full of her being indecisive over what she wants and envy because her sister, look someone with admiration that was usually reserved for zafira. and god the constant banter of zafiranasir wether they wanted to be together is sending me they both are so indecisive the question is do you guys want to be together or no?

altair. i'm so looking forward to seeing him but we barely get his pov on this nearly 600 pages book. i'm so dissapointed. overall, the plot, the action are spectacular. the arabic rep, i'm so thrown it is amazing. i still enjoy zafiranasir though the angst!!

Another great book by this author! The pining in here is UNMATCHED, and while I got a little confused at times due to the many characters, I really liked the storyline and characters!

Arabian fantasies are my weakness. I’m in love with this duology so much. Not only is the tension and relationship so beautiful, the plot is literally out of this world. I loved the world so much and the arabic terms throughout the book. The characters were so amazing. I literally cannot wait for the adaption of this book.

Really loved the first one, however the second one didn’t do it as much for me. That’s not to say the story was bad by no means and I can see why people hold it dear to them. For me however, I was a little disappointed with the development of Nasir’s and Zafira’s relationship and also there were times where the plot dragged a bit. Despite that though, I’m pleased with the end I think it was handled quite well. I also loved the side characters in this story, they gave me life when everything else was so sad
