Stunning photographs accompany short-form interviews with Indigenous people from across the United States. Fascinating and gorgeous.

Blown away by this book. The amount of detail that went into this is heartwarming. Pure automatic buy! Without giving spoilers there really isn’t much I can say! Truly one of a kind book!

I am a fan of the All My Relations podcast of which Wilbur is a co-host. When I heard that she was publishing her work I knew I had to get my hands on a copy and I am so grateful that my library had a copy of this book available for checkout. The stories shared by Wilbur's subjects are as beautiful and as breathtaking as her photographs. I learned a great deal about the history of what is now referred to as the United States that spent a great deal of time exploring further. However, the historical knowledge imparted by this work was of secondary interest to all the fascinating and inspiring stories Wilbur's subjects so graciously shared for this work. I highly recommend this book!

I will note that you will need a good supporting table or pillow to hold this book up as you read it because it is rather heavy and has a larger-than-average dimension, but well worth the read!

A love story to Native Americans in all their great glory. The book is epic, yet intimate, and ever so beautiful.

Thank you Netgalley and the publishers for an early copy in exchange for an honest review

I thought this was such an inspiring non fiction about a woman who sold everything she had and started a Kickstarter campaign so that she may travel across the United States interview and photograph the different Native American Tribes. To help people change the way we all see Native Americans. I think the photographs are beautiful and the stories are inspiring. I learned a lot of new things. I think this book can change people's points of view.
