Not my favourite, but it’s absolutely well done.

I enjoy the idea of Juliet’s instant love for Romeo as a symbol of her desire for independence rather than love for the man himself.

I liked it a lot more than I did when I was 14, but I still didn’t love it. A compelling story, but totally overhyped. Wish I was required to read any other tragedy ngl
