Like everyone else, I first read this in high school. But decided to reread as part of the Stacks Podcast book club. A surprisingly quick read, especially if you’re not picking it apart line by line. Don’t know if I’d read another Shakespeare play on my own initiative, but maybe if there’s another one for book club next year :)
I was really excited to read this play going into it and I was really disappointed after finishing it. Juliet I thought was just really stupid and should have made more reasonable and smart decisions!
