This book has a long page count but I read it in two sittings over one afternoon/evening. It is a fascinating autobiographical story about the author wanting to start the transition process but then being diagnosed with D.I.D. during the prerequisite therapy, which had to be treated and accepted first before she could medically transition. The art is simple but effective, my favorite style for a graphic novel. There were still words to read but pages weren't super busy.  This story made it seem like you can heal or recover from D.I.D. but that's not what I'd thought was true, so I want to do more research.

This was really tough to read at times because the therapist was being incredibly awful. However it's still a fascinating, especially when you get to the last pages, first person telling of an experience we don't hear a lot about. I'm grateful the creator made this.

This book was wonderful! Cannot reccommend this highly enough for others to read!!! Beautifully simple artwork that helps the story come to life, great dialogue, and bounces back and forth in time wonderfully.
