Ooof. I don't know what to say. I love Memnon, I'm a sucker for his attitude.
This one was more intense and suspenseful, so much happened.
I really enjoyed it.

That cliffhanger though... 2026 is too far away.

The way I DEVOURED  this book was insane! By far the best of Laura's books and I've been a HUGE fan of her! Every book she writes is absolutely amazing! 
The way I swooned for Memnon!!! 
Honestly, 5 stars! Chef's kiss! Everything about this story is fabulous 👌 

If you like "touch her and ☠️", Supernatural, witchy vibes, then pick this one up! You won't be disappointed!

Oh my gods Laura Thalassa did not disappoint! This was better than the first book! I found myself gasping and just having to just take a few moments to process what I was reading (in the best way).

So I thought this was a completed duet with a prequel coming out but why did this end on a cliffhanger???? I guess I’m waiting for a prequel and a book 3 now. Memnon's grovelling was diabolical. That man was yearning. My heart broke for Memnon and Selene in chapter 34 (if ykyk) but was followed up with one of the hardest revenge arc by yours truly, Memnon “your executioner” Uvagukis.
