Oh Scalzi. With kind of precious unreasonable writing at times. But funner than the collapse of civilization and assassination ever deserves to be. And with some twists and turns that I did not see happening. And a body count, but not nearly as high as I expected. Definitely a different kind of political machinations book. And of course fun and readable all the way to the end. Which really is what I expect from Scalzi.

John Scalzi, I swear the amount of times I screamed out loud reading this book. The book is full of insane twists and turns, just like how I imagine the flows to be.

Stop me if you’ve heard this before, civilization as we know it is coming to an end and rather than listen to scientists the ruling class continues its political infighting and try to profit off the chaos. This might sound like something you don’t want to read at this current moment but I can’t stress how fun it is.

My only regret was not rereading the prior novels to refresh my memory of the characters and plots.
