There's no consistency. The big ideas seem so promising, then they fizzle or are simply abandoned. Damnit, I really wanted to like this book.

Some interesting X-Men stories, covering a few different parts of the aliens & starships side of the book. I think my main gripe with it is pacing. Dawn of X set up such a grand premise that it's almost hard for them to make a one shot or few-issue mini arc, because any threat big enough to cause Krakoa issues feels too big to get solved in an issue or two.

The stuff with the brood was unexpected and wild. So good.
