This author's books are absolute brain popcorn full of wildly unrealistic plot lines, and I love every second of every one of them. This one was not an exception. There wasn't a single thing about it that was believable, but it was a really fun read with a few twists I definitely did not see coming. This was a great way to spend a few hours without trying to think too hard about anything that was going on and it's well worth reading for the entertainment value alone.

This storyline wasn't well crafted. It drug on and on and on until I had finished nearly 2/3 of the book. By then I had figured it out and I saw the second twist coming a mile away. Similar plot style to The Boyfriend, but it was done better.

An enjoyable, fast-paced read. Not the most original story out there, but compulsively readable in the way Freida is famous for.

Ultimately I enjoyed this story and I found there was a lot of tension built up which made sure it was never boring

After losing his job, Blake and his fiance, Krista, decide to rent out their second bedroom. When their new tenant moves in, a series of strange occurrences happen that lead into an absolute nightmare, and when a murder occurs in their neighborhood, Blake is almost positive that he knows who is behind it, if only he can prove it.

This book was okay. Blake losing his mind was entertaining to read, but the parts with the maggots really grossed me out.
I predicted the "who done it" aspect but it was still an enjoyable read. I'd give it a 3.5 🌟

Holy Moly!!!! What a book, this was absolutely brilliant! I picked this up to read at 8pm last night and finished it by 22:45. I could not stop reading it, I just wanted to know what happened next. it was like watching a movie, the twist, the turns, the sheer anxiety of feeling like someone else was living in your home. Fantastic read, knocks The Housemaid of her top spot!
