The perfect mix of unhinged characters and jaw-dropping twists. The Tenant had me hooked from the very beginning. I was gasping in parts and taken aback by twists I didn’t see coming.
The characters were wonderfully unhinged, and I enjoyed the chaos coming.
This is only my second Freida book and it was fast paced enough for my long distance ride while on vacation.
I thought the narrators did a fantastic job with these characters.
The audiobook narration was fantastic and pulled me even deeper into the story. Every moment of tension was heightened by the delivery.

So, I’m not gonna lie - I struggled to pull this review together. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed this book! BUT - I personally do not feel like this was one of Freida’s best (unpopular opinion, I know).
I immediately hated Blake (MMC). I could not find a single care to give about this guy. His character’s personality was cringy & unlikable from the start. I found myself laughing at him more & more… and to be frank - I started pulling for Whitney.
