Somehow I enjoyed it, it's like action movie, Ezio Auditore da Firenze is good example of Gentlemen, and there is kill after kill.
Resembling about apple of eden and Minerva who is here an Isu scientist, Sacred Voice, and a member of the Capitoline Triad. As part of the Triad, she worked in close collaboration with the Father of Understanding Jupiter and the Mother of Wisdom Juno to prevent the First Disaster, and its recurrence.
The Isu are an ancient and highly-advanced species of humanoid beings who were active on Earth during the eponymous era several millennia before the rise of even the most ancient human civilization.
And about pages of manuscript that are gathered together revealing enlightenment of light that outlight the darkness, light of God that makes people into saints and saints themselves light that truth and hope to other people.

I actually liked this book more than i thought I would. I was sad that Ezio didn't end up with Cristina. I was nearly crying when they saw each other after eight years, because Ezio thought he was doing the right thing and letting Cristina marry the other guy. But I was crying when Ezio found out that Cristina was dead.
All in all I really liked this book, and can't wait to read the rest :)

I didn't expect a masterpiece with this book, it's based off of a video game after all.
And for what they promise (a novelization of Assassin's Creed 2) they do rather well, and that's all I expect of them. I don't expect to see Ezio in a new light. I keep this book on my shelves because it allows me to relive Ezio's story without owning the game.

Not only does it tell a great story, but also the story telling is exceptional.
I have played the game many years ago, but i didn't remember a thing. So, maybe my expectetions were low, which might have made me get this impression.
In any case, it is a book you should read ! You should read if you like history, if you love adventure, and definitely if you love trips !!! It will be a joyride !!!

Love this historical fiction. Something about the life of the Assassin and their Creed intrigued me. The setting in Renaissance Italy adds magic to the gripping plot and the charming and witty protagonist, Ezio Auditore made the read more entertaining. Oliver Bowden's writing style is tasteful and effective in the telling of this fantastic tale inspired by the popular game series. I've always hoped that games with rich storylines would have novel versions of them for bookworms like me and this book was an answered prayer. If you are a fan of historical fictions, action and adventure, I recommend this read.
So I got to around 20% and just did not like it. My rating will be based on the first 20% of the book therefore. I really did not like it. Ezzio is painted as a whiny boy and not like the Ezzio from the game. (Yes I did play the game first). But not only thw character I did not like. I also didn't like the writingstyle. I do like descriptives but not for every word that your read..
