Overall, I thought this book was a heartwarming and charming story about self-discovery in the wake of a life-changing event. Hannah’s journey toward realizing her true potential was both well-written and entertaining, with plenty of humorous moments that kept me engaged. Her antics had me laughing out loud at times, making her an endearing and relatable protagonist.

That being said, there were a few slow points where the pacing dragged more than I would have liked. While these moments didn’t ruin the experience, they did make certain sections feel a bit drawn out.

One of my favorite aspects of the book was the chemistry between Hannah and River—their dynamic felt natural, and the romantic tension was just the right mix of sweet and spicy. The spice was definitely on point, adding an extra layer of depth to their relationship.

On the other hand, I wasn’t entirely sold on Killian’s presence in the story. While he did contribute to the drama, I felt like his character was given more attention than necessary. Still, he served his purpose in shaking things up.

At its core, this book beautifully highlights the power of family, forgiveness, and personal growth. It’s a feel-good read with plenty of heart, humor, and romance, making it a great pick for anyone who loves a story about finding yourself after life takes an unexpected turn.
