This would probably have been 5 stars if I’d known anything about Euripides’ plays. Oh well - now I have an excuse to school up and reread! This is an awesomely impressive novel, with a unique premise and totally absorbing narrative. Love Lambo as the narrator. I was left gutted by the ending which is maybe silly because this is the second time this week I’ve read a book about some actors producing famous tragedies and like … not expecting that maybe the novels could be tragedies themselves.
