This book is so sweet, so fun, and such a wild ride. The slow reveal of the romance is incredibly paced and will make you awww audibly. And the horror is really scary. What’s not to love?

Zombabe is an amalgamation of all the genres the author describes. It’s a YA, Horror LGBTQ romance that blends together seamlessly in a tight little volume.
It’s reminiscent of Stephen Kings greatest works from the almost inhuman villains to the stressed relationships between parents and their children. This is because of the Authors ability to write natural dialogue and understand the dynamic between characters.
You will fall in love with ‘The Dead crew’ and their tight knight friendship. Which sets the book far apart from cringeworthy Zombie romances of the past. A dynamite read for any teenager or adult.

I loved the characters, and i loved the writing. Great chapters, and alot of suspence. Especially towards the end
I really wanted to like this one, but it’s just not catching or keeping my attention.

On paper this book sounds perfect for me, small town horror with queer rep, but in actuality, I had to stop reading it because its all too similar to Stephen Kings It. The zombie dynamic felt new and the characters were cool people but the whole setting felt like a clumpsy version of Derry. The towns whole history feels ripped straight outta It without many changes and it was just irritating me how similar the two setting are right down to the same shoot out and same fires and same boiler explosions all watched up by an ageless supernatural presence that causes people to turn a blind eye to the bad things in the town. Even the town bully felt like a Stephen King replica. Speaking of the violence, the town and characters are way too casual with people coming back from the dead, murder, and eating people. Like they hardly blink an eye at it and that makes it feel like there's no real sense of threat. If you can get past that then I think it could be a really fun book, but for me personally I did not read over 1000 pages of Stephens Kings It just to see it copied and pasted somewhere else.
