I really enjoyed this! It was interesting to read from Kaidan's perspective. The Sweet Evil trilogy is one of my favorites, so it was great to revisit the story and characters.

4.5 stars

This was from Kai's POV, it was nice to read, as it made some of his actions make sense throughout the trilogy. Worth the read if you really got invested and are interested in hearing the details, but if you only finished the trilogy to find out what happens, you won't care for it.

This book literally skims over the entire series that we already read from Anna's point of view and the POV doesn't seem different at all. If anything it's less sexy because it's just skimming everything without adding any detail. There isn't very much added from their time apart which could have easily been published in a short little ebook format.

I loved reading this story from Kaidan's point of view! "Bullfuckincrickey," he is funny, charming, and makes me blush.

where can i get my own kaidan rowe?

Overall, it was nice to read about Kaiden's feelings and his POV.

Still, this was a little disappointing. I think I would've really preferred it if the author had written just the first/second/third book and not fit all three into one. I felt that with the book not being that long, the story was very rushed and his thoughts rushed too.
To be honest, I don't think I learned or discovered anything new? Because it was so fast paced, it as very superficial or surface-level thoughts we got from Kaiden, and so a little underwhelming.

I enjoyed it because I enjoyed the original series, but was a little disappointed tbh.

I have a guilty pleasure for books written after the original series told in the other persons POV and lemme just say this was AWESOME for it! I loved it!! Read it so fast! I didn't want it to end!

Move over, Will Herondale. Kaiden Rowe has officially replaced you, sad to say.

This was so much better than the entire Sweet Trilogy. My mind has been blown to pieces that I cannot really articulate my love for this book, this series, and for that boy. Jesus Christ...

it was so interesting to be in Kaidan's head !:)
