Although this story kept me guessing, the twist came a little too soon. This one would've been better off as a full length novel due to not enough character development and not enough time for this type of story to go into detail and explain more things. This was a very quick read which is good if that's what you are looking for. But, just wasn't executed correctly in my opinion.

This was my first Sally Hepworth book, and I’m a bit conflicted. Part of me wants to say it missed the mark for me but I’m not entirely sure. It was a quick read, but maybe a little too quick. I feel like it didn’t have enough time to fully pull me in or develop its many characters. I think for such a short book, there was just entirely too many characters. I found myself surprisingly uninvested in the mystery, something I don’t usually feel with thrillers. I’ll give this one a meh.
