Very cute lovestory with age-gap (older FMC, young MMC)

The first Nashville-book had a plot-what-plot vibe. But "The Poolboy" was very different and I loved the story!

The writing is great as always 😏

I liked this book more than the first one. This book has an older woman/younger man relationship which is different for me. I haven't read many books where the older person is the female, so that was something new and refreshing.

I really enjoyed the characters in this book. Troy was a total sweetheart towards Erika. I loved how he reassured her everytime she had doubts about his feelings due to her past experience with her ex husband. And I loved how supportive Erika was with Troy and how reassuring she was when he had doubts about pursuing a music career. They're the perfect match, both supporting each other in whatever they do and in their relationship.

While this can be read as a standalone, the characters from the first book do show up a few times throughout the story (this book takes place roughly a year after the events in the first book) which I really enjoyed. I loved seeing where the characters from the first book are currently.

I'm excited to see what the third book has in store.

I really liked reading the story, it was better than the doctor because it had more plot, but still it was mostly just story of an older woman having sex with her pool boy
that changed into being her boyfriend, and international superstar.

I liked Troy so fucking much he always said the right things.

I did like Erika as well just don't have anything to say about her
cause the only really cool thing I saw in her was the boob job she got after the divorce.

Still I saw this more as a wattpad story then a book i would've bought.
