This book was a decent read, it reminds me of Love Rosie for some reason but I think it's because of how long the characters were able to communicate properly. Shane is more likable than Lilah because he knew who he wanted from the start, but Lilah dismissed it.

There were a few times when I get where Lilah is coming from. Her reasons to not commit, and why she pushes people away are the main ones. What I do not like is how she treats Shane like he's a pest every time they interact. She barely gave him any chance to explain himself. She believed in her assumptions about him for so long that it became quite annoying. I almost stopped reading it until the therapy sessions.

I think overall it is a decent read, but there are a lot of annoying moments. I'm rating if 4 stars because the writing style is great, but I don't think I'll read this again.
