Kenna and Crosby's past taught them some not-so-pleasant lessons that left them scarred. Kenna has become more careful and desires stability and simplicity in her life. Crosby, on the other hand, is a free spirit who doesn't want to be tied down but who wants to enjoy life to the fullest.
I liked how Crosby broke down Kenna's protective wall that she had built around herself, how he broadened her horizons and taught her to fully enjoy life. Their banter was hilarious.
And when their pasts caught up with them I liked how they supported each other. And of course, there was the cherry on top - the suspense plot which, as always, added much-needed tension that I love so much.

Watching Crosby help his Brown Eyes let go of perfection and structure so she could fall in love with living was so special.

This story truly is one of those books that does the soul some good.

As always Catherine does such a great job with character building and storytelling—you can’t help, but love them and hope for their love and HEA.

Every girl deserves a Crosby when they’re broken and frozen.
