this is such a cute little romance book with two sons of american presidential candidates. its got no spice but thats okay bc the mmcs are children. idk what it is tho with books and hyping up a competition only to not say who comes out on top or maybe i'm just blind and missed it. its got flirting over text, betrayal, stalking, and bookstore dates, so its basically the best and i highly recommend

i cannot believe they forgave mel so easily bc she was so mad at dre for things that were out of his control and then she made fun of him for who hanging out with dean and not thinking that he's a horrible person and got mad when he showed up on a sunday for d&d even tho she never told him that their friend group changed d&d days to saturdays. like he showed up as planned it isn’t his fault his dad is dragging him across the country and he can't hang out with her.

4.5 Too much was left unresolved and something was just missing but overall I enjoyed the heck out of this.

Also if I had to guess his mom won. Well it's mentioned that Dre and his dad planned on touring Europe in his summer before college but since he entered the race for president that wouldn't be able to happen and then at the end it's revealed that Dre did go to Europe. Maybe it's nothing but makes me think she won.
