Exceptional! The more of Lovecraft you read, the more lost in his world you become. There is so much learned from each story and as many questions raised. Often I found myself searching the internet for the meaning behind certain cryptic happenings. I can't recommend this more.

Genug ist genug. Gefühlt zweieinhalb Handlungsmotive in drölfhundert verschiedenen Fassungen, dazu in einem Schreibstil, der auf Dauer mehr als nur ein bisschen nervt – ich mag nicht mehr. Garantiert entgehen mir durch den Verzicht der zweiten Hälfte der Sammlung ein paar gut versteckte Perlen in Lovecrafts Werk, aber damit kann ich hervorragend leben. Die Zeit für die Suche dieser Stories investiere ich dann doch lieber in die Gesamtausgabe von E.A. Poe, der hatte dann doch ein paar Ideen mehr auf Lager. Und eine erheblich genußreicher zu lesende Schreibe.
