This is weird, yes, but it’s also Klune at his best with all the warmth and whimsy we’ve come to expect from his stories.

I’d love to see this on screen… I can’t define how much I love these characters and the incorporation of pop culture classics.

TJ Klune is a must read for me, so when they rereleased this story I knew I was in.

This is definitely more action film esque than other books by Klune and it was a slow building romance and there is one explicit scene.

I found Artemis Darth Vader to be a delight, and as with all TJ Klune books I laughed out loud multiple times. Watching Nate and Alex’s relationship develop was fun even though it felt very trauma focused.

It felt like a cross country trip story, mixed with some underground government shadiness, and a cult all in one.
