I admire R.F. Kuang for making me sit through the pov of a deeply unlikeable narrator and still want to get to the next page so bad!!!! And even feel bad for her at times??? In this layered exploration of the publishing world, Kuang takes us through the bad and the ugly, and how white women tears truly are a source of misery.
