I loved this one even more than The worst best man! It was funny and I really felt the connection between the characters. It was a bit unrealistic though, with certain scenarios and I wish the ending had gone a bit differently. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fun, romantic, good time, with a side of close family relationships.

This book is really 🌶️🌶️ (8.5/10 🌶️🌶️🌶️) Um the plot is very interesting but I don’t feel like the book should have dragged out the ending 🤷🏾‍♀️. Other than that it’s a decent book good character development.

Solange needs a fake boyfriend to impress her critical Brazilian relatives. Dean needs a fake girlfriend to woo a prospective new hire at his law firm. Thankfully, Solange crashed his wedding and put a stop to his marriage of convenience which made her the perfect candidate.

This is a perfectly fine romantic comedy with a few spicy scenes for good measure. Its biggest drawback is the unrealistic dialogue. Several heartfelt speeches take up whole pages but don’t have the same impact written as they would if it was a movie.
