This was SO CUTE. The language, the food, the storyline, the you crash I crash parts, the sex club!!! Omg I loved this from beginning to end and I want to pick it up and read it all over again! The pro bono work? The Latina representation? I loved this. Truly.

The Wedding Crasher is a loose follow-up to The Worst Best Man, so make sure you (re)read that first, otherwise you might miss some of the interplay between the Tias and the cousins.

The Wedding Crasher follows Solange and Dean, who meet when Solange steps up an objects to Dean's wedding. Because the bride is in love with one of the groomsmen. And then both of them need a fake relationship - Solange's mother lied to family member in Brazil who's coming up for a visit, and Dean lied to his bosses in an attempt to gain favor and be made partner - and they need it fast.

In general, it's a fun romp around DC, though there are more serious subplots, though they add to the plot, making it very fun and interesting story about finding out who you really are and what really matters. Though I am annoyed
Peter
does not get what's coming to him, what with the sex party and how he treated Kimberly.

I’m really bummed that somehow all of the highlights I made when reading this book were deleted because there were some really good insights on life and change and choices. But especially after a surprise twist at the end, I think that going back for a re-read will be just as good (if not better). So many fun situations (a sex party followed by simulated birthing contractions; an only-one-bed situation hosting cousins from Brazil) and I liked that the conflict in this one was concern about if/how they could fit their lives together and they were mostly honest about their feelings. Loved it.
