I had been really excited to read this but it might just not be the right time for me to read at the end of spring! Might try again but then again pretty sure I know what’s going on so maybe not…

Holy fucking shit. One of the best horror novels that I have ever read, period. Loved the themes, loved the characters, loved the voice, loved the pacing. Loved everything, absolutely no notes. I enjoyed the gore, the plot, the twists, the dark humor, the grounding themes of women, aging, losing yourself and finding yourself. Phenomenonal.

AUDIOBOOK :5 stars for Mary: An Awakening of terror. Check trigger warnings before taking this ride. This book definitely takes serial unaliver to the next level. This is full of dark horror.
This book follows Mary who goes to her hometown to take care of her aunt (I think). Though Mary has had some concerns of her mental state she goes to make some money. So many events take place to lead up to the best plot twist! While reading this I even found myself laughing at some parts. The audiobook was greatly executed!
